IHUD, the acronym of Human Rights and Equality Experts Association, was established on 19/09/2019. IHUD has two essential missions: protecting the rights and interests of its members and contributing to the protection and promotion of human rights.
In the context of protecting the rights and interests of its members; IHUD aims to protect and strengthen the rights and interests of its members in terms of professional, cultural, social, economic and legal aspects, to increase the professional knowledge and solidarity among their members, to identify problems related to the working conditions and personal rights of the members and to work towards solving these problems.
Within the scope of contributing to the protection and promotion of human rights, which is the second main purpose of IHUD; the essential objectives of the IHUD are as follows: conducting and contributing to scientific research on human rights and anti-discrimination and publishing them, becoming a center of information and documentation in the field of human rights, conducting national or international projects in the field of human rights and anti-discrimination, and conducting awareness-raising activities to contribute to social development.
Reaffirming its belief in the importance of protecting and promoting human rights, IHUD operates in line with the principles of reliability, transparency, rights-based approach, non-discrimination, and expertise.
